Everywhere Is A Reading Room
The cozy chair. Book on the floor, head hanging over the edge of the couch. How do you read? Where do you read?
I read in transit. Between train transfers, riding shot gun down he highway. For better or for worse, I love the concept of multitasking while reading--getting where you're going temporally. Taking a trip mentally.
I read in bed. I live for the moment when my brain tells me, "Ok girl [my brain sounds like my grandmother], it's time to go to sleep." Then I lazily drop the hardcover off the edge of the bed. Tomorrow I'll pick it up, stuff it in my purse, and resurrect it on the A train platform. How do you read?
